If you have any questions regarding your first visit, please don’t hesitate to call us at (802) 388-0970.
Consultation
Next you will have a consultation with Dr. Mary Kraus to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. The consultation allows the doctor to learn more about you, your condition, your expectations and goals for care.
** Some people chose to come in for a brief consultation just to meet and talk to one of our doctors before scheduling their first Chiropractic visit. We do provide this consultation as a complementary service, but please be aware that we will not provide any treatment or examination procedures during this visit. Please be sure to let our staff know if you are interested in a complementary consultation before scheduling your first visit.
Treatment
If your condition and specific circumstances allow, you may receive your first treatment at the conclusion of the initial appointment. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy modalities, and/or soft tissue therapies.
Insurance
Most insurance plans are accepted at our office. We participate with Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Cigna, CBA Blue, Medicare, and in some instances auto accident, workers compensation and personal injury insurances. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. As a courtesy our staff will make every attempt to verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no charge. Please be aware this not a guarantee of coverage. Final liability, if any, can not be determined until the insuarnce company has received and properly adjudicated the claim.
No Insurance
If you do not have insurance there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable. We also offer access to ChiroHealthUSA (CHUSA). CHUSA is a discount medical plan that allows us to offer discounted fees for our services. This is not an insurance plan or a qualified health plan under the Affordable Care Act.
